Tim and Kit Kemp, co-founders of Firmdale Hotels are the indisputable pioneers of luxury hotel design and service. They are innovative in their field, continually reshaping the hospitality industry and reinventing the hotel experience. Tim and Kit build, design and operate 10 privately owned hotels in London and New York, allowing them to keep a personal style of management which is so often lost as companies increase in size. Continual reinvestment into the properties is key to their success. Their unique vision for acquiring previously overlooked inner city sites and turning them into world-renowned luxury hotels, has injected new energy into the surrounding neighborhoods. This has been recognized with prestigious accolades such as The Crown Estate’s Urban Business Award. Kit Kemp’s unique approach to interior design has seen her recognized globally as one of the most innovative and exciting interior designers of our time.
